Nidec Conversion Showcases Energy Storage and E-Mobility at Intersolar 2025
Nidec Conversion unveils cutting-edge Battery Storage, Power Conversion Systems, and DirectPowerPS chargers at Intersolar Europe/EES, Munich, May 7–9 (Hall B2, Booth 230).

Nidec Conversion participates in the Intersolar Europe/EES trade fair from May 7 to 9 in Munich. At Hall B2, Booth 230, industry professionals will gain exclusive insights into the latest product developments in energy storage and e-mobility.
Intersolar/EES Europe are part of The smarter E Europe, Europe’s largest alliance of exhibitions for the energy industry, which has as objective to shape a future-focused energy system by emphasizing renewables, decentralized and digital innovations and industry approaches from the sectors electricity, heat and transport for a sustainable, continuous energy supply. More than 110,000 expected visitors can look forward to over 3,000 exhibitors spread across a total space of 206,000 sqm of the Messe München grounds.
Among them is Nidec Conversion, which has 15 subsidiaries worldwide including Germany, with Salzbergen (Lower Saxony) and Hennef (North Rhine-Westphalia) serving as specialized centers in energy and infrastructure with around 120 employees. Aiming to drive the energy transition through technological innovation, the company presents a broad range of solutions, from its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to the improved Power Conversion System (PCS) and the refined DirectPowerPS charging stations product line, all designed to increase energy efficiency, support renewable integration, and promote sustainable mobility.

1. The new generation of ACBOX all-in-one solutions (BESS) for 2 h to 8 h applications
2. The improved Power Conversion System (PCS):
- Flexible: Engineered for three distinct markets, it adapts to diverse application needs with unmatched configurability
- 2000 V Ready: Supports up to 2000 volts for next-gen applications, delivering robust, efficient performance with reduced cost and increased power
- High Power Density: Compact, skid-integrated design achieves one of the highest power densities available, maximizing performance in minimal space
- Silent: Advanced technology ensures quiet operation, with an optional noise reduction kit for near-silent performance
3. The refined DirectPowerPS charging stations product line:
- Multi: Integrated ultra-fast charger (<15 min) with built-in and modular battery storage (187 kWh–2.2 MWh) and scalable output (0–1 MW), helps managing grid impact, reducing peak demand charges, and ensuring reliable charging
- DC Split: Distributed architecture delivers ultra-fast charging up to 1.3 MW across 12 charging points, ideal for large-scale depot electrification (e-trucks, e-buses, public charging hubs)
- DC Compact Dispenser: Sleek, versatile charging dispenser for seamless integration and user-friendly operation in various environments
- DC Tower 400 kW: Now officially Eichrecht-certified for modules B and D for compliant, trustworthy metering and billing in public charging
- DC Wallbox: Compact, efficient DC charger for homes and businesses, providing fast and reliable charging for electric vehicles
